Att Assange kommer överklaga tills det inte finns någon mer att överklaga till står klart, och det kan ta en väldigt lång tid även om det tas till nästa instans som är Högsta Domstolen i Storbritannien (Supreme Court) och om det verkligen kan ses som att man kan ha brutit mot mänskliga rättigheter, så kan det tas till Europeiska Domstolen för mänskliga rättigheter.
Väntetiden för att få sitt fall till Supreme Court är nu flera år, och om det kommer till Europeiska domstolen så kan det dröja fem år till. Kanske är detta endast ett sätt att utnyttja att det finns en preskiptionstid på 5 år för våldtäkt i Sverige enligt den information som jag kan hitta på nätet.
Kanske är detta helt enkelt taktik…

good. let the jaws of justice grind slowly. let assange get the nobel peace prize before this ridiculous swedish circus gets started.
would like to point out that there was another infamous “rape case” involving a foreigner here in sweden. this fellow was not a gentleman, but it certainly was not rape: he suggested to women that he could fix them work in the music biz; he was a producer of music or some such type. one women claims he raped her on monday; but on friday he offered her a trip to London, and she was happy to go with him and get “raped” again.
now how can it be rape if the woman accepts an offer to go along with the man another time?
there is no logic in a swedish court. the judgte was probably sleeping.
anyway, this poor foreigner got 5 years in prison. unusually heavy sentence. some murderers get less time in jail!
as with assange, the woman claims he raped her one night, and then the next night she throws a party for him and invites him to sleep in her bed- and claims he raped her again. where is the logic in this?
